I had such a positive experience working with Prone Solutions.The stress of the surgery is a lot to take and the other companies I called shipped the equipment in a box. I can't imagine having to set it up myself and then ship it back after the recovery period since you are not supposed to lift anything. In addition, his prices were less, since they had a shipping charge.

My Mom had retina eye surgery, and used Prone Solutions to help with her positioning post surgery. Tom was very nice, and patient as he explained how to use the equipment. Once finding out that I would need retina surgery and then finding out what the recovery would entail I was worried. Thankfully my eye doctor recommended Prone Solutions!!! I really don't know what I would have done without the specialized equipment. My daughter called and spoke with Tom and he set up a time early the next morning (as surgery was somewhat of an emergency) - to set up the equipment and show us how to use it. Tom was very helpful, answered all of our questions and was very patient making sure we were comfortable with how to position everything. The equipment was spotless and odor free, with soft removable covers for the face rests. Pick up was also a breeze. I pray I never need their services again but would recommend them very highly. I was dreading having to remain face down for at least a week, and I hope I will not have to go through that again. With that said, I don't know I ever would have done it without Prone Solutions. To my surprise, I was able to do many things face down while face down on the chair due to the tray table (adjustable), the arm rests (adjustable), the head support (adjustable), and the mirrors which enabled me to watch tv and even talk to my husband "face-to-face!" Sleeping was a bit more difficult for me, but, again, I could not have done this without Prone Solutions. It's funny, but the week was somewhat restful! The cost for all the equipment was very reasonable, and if I ever need this again, I would call Tom immediately!

We can't begin to tell you how much this equipment helped with 18 hrs of face down time after retina surgery, especially when sleeping and using the chair during the day. I recently had a VITRECTOMY surgery for my torn retina & had the surgery but notified Prone Solutions thru their website contact info as to the date of surgery & hospital. I was contacted at the hospital BEFORE being discharged the next day by Tom who said he would deliver the head down equipment & meet me at my condo to show how to operate all the equipment ! WOW ! What a customer orientated business ! He was there with the awesome equipment later that day & setup it up plus showed how to adjust if needed. The companies my Dr. gave as brochures were thru the mail. No personal delivery or setup for these other companies ! Have to say spending a week face down is not fun BUT the equipment including the mirror / seat stand setup to watch TV or work on the PC made it all bearable. The face down halo cushioned sleep setup was incredible too. Anyone going thru this procedure in Illinois should contact this company to make this period more bearable ! It is so well designed I think the engineering person who designed this equipment had to experience the head down week ! The week is over but I'm really impressed by the service & equipment delivered by Prone Solutions ! Thank You So Much ! Well worth the money spent. TY - Tom !
